Adi Surya Triwibowo is an interior designer with 30 years of experience, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. 

Adi graduated with a Bachelor of Design from the Indonesian Institute of Arts Yogyakarta, where he studied interior design, and later earned his Master’s degree in Architecture from the Indonesian University of Education in Bandung. 

In 2004, he founded his own interior design and construction firm, Dimensi Gagas Prima, specializing in office, bank, residential, and hospitality design. In 2007, he and his wife, Ary Okta, established Palakali Creative, an art space and gallery focused on art and design thinking education. Under Palakali Creative, Adi also launched Creative Talks ID, a podcast where he invites guests from various creative industries to discuss insights and trends in design and art.

Adi is an active member of the Indonesian Interior Designers Association (HDII) and currently serves as President (Ketua Umum) for the 2024–2027 term, where he contributes to advancing the profession and supporting fellow interior designers across the country. 

His passion for art spaces and galleries, a focus of his master’s thesis, has led him to visit nearly 100 galleries, primarily on Java island. Some of these visits have been documented in video form through ArtArtTrip, a collaborative project with his son, Dandy Dzakyesa. 

In his free time, Adi enjoys sketching, particularly urban sketches of historical buildings in the cities he visits during work trips. With his years of experience in art and design, he is frequently invited to teach and share his insights at various universities across Indonesia and regularly participates in numerous art exhibitions.
